J.R. Johnson grew up in Mead, Nebraska. After graduating High School from Bishop Neumann in Wahoo he attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has over 15 years of insurance experience. He is married and has 3 little girls. They currently live in the Elkhorn area. He enjoys working, skiing, Husker Football, and spending time with his family.
